IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR CLIENTS
Our obligations as your registered tax agent
Altus Partners Pty Ltd (Tax Agent Number 26275211) is a registered tax agent regulated by the Tax Practitioners Board (TPB) under the Tax Agent Services Act 2009 (TASA). Under section 45 of the Tax Agent Services (Code of Professional Conduct) Determination 2024, we are required to make current and prospective clients aware of the matters set out below.
1. The TPB Register
The TPB maintains a public register of all registered tax agents and BAS agents. You can use the register to check our registration status, any conditions on our registration, and any sanctions recorded against us.

2. Our Responsibilities to You
As your registered tax agent, we are required to:
- Act lawfully and in your best interests, subject to our overriding duty to comply with the law.
- Exercise professional competence and due care in providing your tax agent services.
- Not disclose your confidential information to a third party without your permission, unless required or authorised by law.
- Advise you of your rights and obligations under taxation law that are materially relevant to the services we provide you.
- Maintain the professional indemnity insurance required by the TPB.
- Not engage in conduct that is false, misleading, or that would bring the tax profession into disrepute.
- Not knowingly assist you to commit a breach of taxation law.
3. Making a Complaint
If you have a concern about the tax agent service we have provided, you can raise it with us directly in the first instance – contact your Director or our Office Manager. If you are not satisfied with our response, or would prefer to raise the matter externally, you can make a complaint to the TPB.

4. Matters We Are Required to Disclose
Under section 45 of the Determination, we must tell you about certain events from the last 5 years and any conditions on our registration.
Conditions on registration: Neither Altus Partners Pty Ltd nor its registered individuals are currently subject to any conditions on their TPB registration.
Disclosable events (last 5 years): As at 1 January 2026, the Directors are not aware of any matters requiring disclosure under section 45 in respect of Altus Partners Pty Ltd or its registered individuals, including convictions involving fraud or dishonesty, serious taxation offences, adverse Tax Practitioners Board findings, sanctions or orders, or insolvency events.

5. Keeping This Information Current
This page is reviewed and updated as required, including whenever a new disclosable event occurs and at least as part of our yearly review cycle. Please contact us if you have any questions about the information above.
